When we talk about bihar we talk about extreme poverty , large scale migration of people , lack of proper health facility, corruption , goonda raj. Well that was the bihar of past today bihar is new power house of india . facts and figure shows that bihar has shown a trmendous growth in the past few years.Bihar’s economy is apparently a miracle, with its gross domestic product (GDP) growing by 11.44% in 2008-09. This is when the countrys economy is growing at the rate of 8%.The state government’s economic survey for 2008-09 says that the construction sector grew by 23.3% in 2004-05, a huge 83.58% in 2005-06 and 30.2% in 2006-07 and it estimated that growth in the sector would be 43.85% in 2008-09.Bihar tops the cement consumption list for the country, with an annual growth rate of 36%. It also supports anecdotal evidence of a large number of bridges and other public works being constructed .
Law and order situation has improved in bihar. the number of people convicted and arrested have increased . This shows that Nitish  kumar has worked hard to improve the living cindition in bihar.
The election result of bihar shows the maturity of the people of bihar they voted for development . Development was chosen over  caste,religion,etc.
This time during the bihar election more number of women cast their than there male counterparts.52% male cast there votes as compare to 54% women .Women in bihar have set a new trend this will motivate the women in the country  to understand the importance of there vote and cast there vote.
