Delhi has emerged as the new home of indian cricket.In the recent past most of the players who have done well at the senior level are from Delhi.Shewag, Gambhir, Nehra, Ishant,Kohli are from delhi.Eariler most of the player in the indian team used to be from mumbai but now the trend has changed delhi has emerged as the new power house of indian cricket.Most of the talented player who can play for india in near future are from delhi one of them is Pradeep Sangwan,Shikhar Dhawan etc . Pradeep Sangwan all of us know has bowled very well at the ipl2010. Delhi in the recent past has done well at the Ranji level. This time also it has emerged as the strongest contender for the ranji trophy. Its not baout ranji trophy delhi has also done very well at the ipl. In 2008&2009 it reached till the semifinal and in 2010 delhi finished at 5th place.

RAINA the new MR RELIABLE

Raina has emerged as the new MR RELIABLE for team India. Earlier Rahul Dravid was MR RELIABLE because of his consistency in both forms of the game.Now his place has been taken by Raina.Raina is a world class batsman he has proved himself in every form of the game. The innings he played at wankhede stadium in the ipl2010 final shows that he can handle the pressure of the final very well.His knock against South Africa in the ICC 20 20 World cup has proved that he is a world class player.Also his century against srilanka in his debut test match speaks volumes him.Besides being a world class batsman he is a brilliant fielder also.He not only contribute with the bat but also saves lot of run in the field.Most important about raina is that he can bowl also all of us have seen his bowling abilities during the test series against australia and in the ipl 2010.His consistent form in the three forms of the game have made him the new MR RELIABLE.

INDIA A STRONG CONTENDER FOR WORLD CUP2011

India has emerged as a strong contender for world cup 2011.India is currently placed as the number one test team .But recently the win over australia and new zealand has proved that very soon india will be the no one team both in the tests and odi.India has some of the world class player like sachin, dohni, shewag, yuvraj who can singlehandedly win matches for team India.Earlier the team used to rely on the batsman for winning the matches but this time around India have a world class bowling attack which includes Zaheer , Nehra, Sreesanth, Ishant and Harbhajan.Now team india can win matches on any ground under any condition. Team can make big total and can also chase big totals.This team has every thing which can make this team a world champion.Hence Team India is the strongest contender for the world cup 2011.

Australia's Domination Ends

Australia's domination over cricket is on the verge of ending.In the last Decade we have seen the success story of australia .From world cup to champions trophy it won every tournament in which it played.It remained the Number one test and oneday team until recently.From 2001 till 2010 it remained the number one team in the world . The team made several records such as winning 16 match on the trot under the captaincy  of the great steve waugh. Australia have won the 2003 and 2007 cricket world cup without loosing a single match forget about loosing no one was able to challenge them .Its domination over the world cricket was possible only because of its players like Ricky Ponting,Adam Gilchrist,Matthew Hayden,Justin Langer,Shane Warne,Glen Mcgrath etc.
The player mentioned above are the greats of the game they could trun the game at there will.Players like Gilchrist and Hayden in one day hayden and langer in test most of the time gave australia a strong start they could demolish any attack in the world .Players Like Ponting,Martin played there part in the team who can forget the amazing patnership between these two at the final of world cup 2003 against india.Players like warne and mcgrath could rip apart any attack.
But things have changed with the retirement of these player australia is not able bring new players who culd fill the shoes of these players.That is the main reason for the poor perfomance of the team in the recent past.
Now cricket Australia should look forward and nurture new talent so that they can fill the vaccum which has been created by the retitrment of the players.

Naxalism:An Eye Opener

Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh On April 21 2010 said that "Naxalism is the gravest inetrnal security threat to the nation ".This indeed is true because in the year 2009 133 people were Killed by the Militants in J&K whereas during the same period a whopping 908 people were killed by the Naxals.Until March 2010 30 people were killed in J&k by the militants during the same period 132 people were killed by the naxals.The comparision dosen't mean that militancy is not a problem now. It just goes on to show that the work which was earlier being done by the militants ie to kill innocent civilians is now being done by the naxals or the maoist. Another significant thing is the geographical reach of naxalism as compare to militancy. In india militancy is confined to the state of j&k only on the other hand as of 2009 naxalites were active across approximately 220 district in 20 ststes of india accounting for about 40 percent of India's geographical area. They are Especially cincentrated in an area known as the ''RED CORRIDER".India'sResearch and Analysis Wing believed in 2006 that 20000 naxals were involved in growing insurgency.
Earlier all the naxalites groups were engaged in guerrilla war.But with time some of the naxalite groups have become legal organisations participating in parliamentary elections, such as the communist party of india(Marxist-Lennist).Others such as the communist party of india(maoist) are engaged in armed guerrilla struggles

When we talk about bihar we talk about extreme poverty , large scale migration of people , lack of proper health facility, corruption , goonda raj. Well that was the bihar of past today bihar is new power house of india . facts and figure shows that bihar has shown a trmendous growth in the past few years.Bihar’s economy is apparently a miracle, with its gross domestic product (GDP) growing by 11.44% in 2008-09. This is when the countrys economy is growing at the rate of 8%.The state government’s economic survey for 2008-09 says that the construction sector grew by 23.3% in 2004-05, a huge 83.58% in 2005-06 and 30.2% in 2006-07 and it estimated that growth in the sector would be 43.85% in 2008-09.Bihar tops the cement consumption list for the country, with an annual growth rate of 36%. It also supports anecdotal evidence of a large number of bridges and other public works being constructed .
Law and order situation has improved in bihar. the number of people convicted and arrested have increased . This shows that Nitish  kumar has worked hard to improve the living cindition in bihar.
The election result of bihar shows the maturity of the people of bihar they voted for development . Development was chosen over  caste,religion,etc.
This time during the bihar election more number of women cast their than there male counterparts.52% male cast there votes as compare to 54% women .Women in bihar have set a new trend this will motivate the women in the country  to understand the importance of there vote and cast there vote.

INDIAN CRICKET TEAM THE NEW WORLD CHAMPIONS

Indian cricket team has emerged as the new world champion after the back to back win over australia and new zealand.India showed to world that it can now beat any team in the world wether it is australia england or southafrica. indian team showed that they the have good players who can win matches for them single handledly. the most significant thing about team india is that this team has more than one match winner 5 or 6 years back the whole team relied on sachin if sachin plays well the team will win but if sachin will fail the whole team will fail. but now situation is different indian team have match winners like shewag, gambhir, laxman,dhoni and even harbhajan these player can change the match in indias favour whenever they want.

Another thing about the team is that now it does not rely on the spin bowlers for the wickets and the past few years India has got some of the finest fast bowler it has ever produced. Zaheer, Nehra, Srisanth,Ishant are world class fast bowlers.

There is fierce competition between the players for a spot in the team thig is good sign for indian cricket.The new motto of team India is "Fire or Retire". This shows the spirit of team india.
If the team plays in the same fashion as they are playing now then we can surely say that india is the new power house of cricket.
